The liaison officer is the intermediary between the Lac des Deux-Montagnes Police Board and the Québec Court (criminal chamber and youth tribunal) as well as the Municipal Court. This unit has one officer working under the director of the Investigations Bureau.

The liaison office follows up on a file once it has reached the court, carrying out the following tasks:
